O cinema brasileiro é um grande expoente e referencial global para o campo da arte. Nos últimos anos, ele foi atacado através de grandes cortes orçamentários, leis desfavoráveis, entre outros retrocessos envolvendo inclusive censura. Por mais que sejam tristes, estes momentos também nos fazem vislumbrar a diversidade e a força que o cinema brasileiro sempre teve. Ele tem a arte de misturar os sentidos, a imagem e o som, conseguindo ainda assim fazer uso de elementos do nosso dia a dia (signos que conseguem instigar uma variedade de espectadores da sua terra natal) e preservar, de alguma forma, uma parte importante da nossa história e cultura como povo. Ter feito o cartaz do filme do Cazuza foi uma honra. Tive a possibilidade de representar e reinterpretar, com liberdade criativa, uma produção que imortaliza a história de um dos grandes e importantíssimos músicos do nosso país. Oportunidade única que pôde juntar todas minhas paixões em uma tacada só, e ainda assim fazer parte de um momento tão importante no trajeto de um nome de peso como a Globo Filmes. 25 anos não se fazem todo dia. Sei por experiência própria, pois é a idade com que fiz esse poster. E com isso, deixo aqui meu SUPER obrigado, e um feliz aniversário! Vida longa ao nosso cinema!

Brazilian Cinema is a major exponent and global reference in the field of art it presents. In recent years, it has been under attack through significant budget cuts, unfavorable laws, and other setbacks, including censorship. Even though these moments are disheartening, we can still glimpse the diversity and strength that Brazilian cinema has always possessed. The art of blending senses, image, and sound while still incorporating elements from our daily lives (symbols that can engage a variety of viewers from this homeland) manages to preserve, in some way, an important part of our history and culture as a people. Creating the poster for "O Tempo Não Para" was an honor. The opportunity to represent and reinterpret, with creative freedom, a production that immortalizes the story of one of the great and extremely important musicians of our country. A unique opportunity that allowed me to combine all my passions at once and still be part of such a significant moment in the journey of a heavyweight name like Globo Filmes. 25 years don't come every day. I know from personal experience because that's the age at which I made this poster. With that, I extend my HUGE thanks and wish a happy birthday! Long live our cinema!
